About the course

What this course is.

CLOUDINFRA looks at the system in operation. You choose the cloud type and the provider, cut applications into containers, settle deployments and secrets, and design for resilience and observability. Designing and implementing architectures is covered in overview only, as curriculum 2024.2 states.

CLOUDINFRA has no exam of its own. Attendance earns credit points toward CPSA-A admission; the certification is an assignment and an oral exam by iSAQB-appointed experts, after all admission requirements have been met.

The Albion CLOUDINFRA course has no exam and earns CPSA-A credit points. Certification involves an assignment and an oral exam assessed by experts appointed by the iSAQB, after all admission requirements have been met.

How many credit points does CLOUDINFRA earn?

The Albion CLOUDINFRA course earns 30 credit points: 20 for technical and 10 for methodical competence, none for communicative. The iSAQB CLOUDINFRA curriculum 2024.2 sets that split.

Do I need CPSA-F to attend?

You do not need CPSA-F for the Albion CLOUDINFRA course. The curriculum expects development practice and first experience with containers. A passed CPSA-F exam is required for the CPSA-A certification.

What do I get for attending?

For the Albion CLOUDINFRA course you receive the Albion certificate of participation from 80% attendance, with a public verification page. It depends on attendance, not on any exam.
