- You need parts of the system analysable, not only testable.
- You decide whether a custom language is worth its price.

Formal grammars, regular expressions, and how an interpreter differs from a compiler
- Types:
The role types play in programming

Questions before you book.
Credit points and certificate
The Albion DSL course has no exam and earns CPSA-A credit points. Certification involves an assignment and an oral exam assessed by experts appointed by the iSAQB, after all admission requirements have been met.
The Albion DSL course earns 30 credit points: 20 for methodical competence, 10 for technical and none for communicative. The iSAQB DSL curriculum 2023.1 sets that split.
For the Albion DSL course you receive the Albion certificate of participation from 80% attendance, with a public verification page. It depends on attendance, not on an exam.
The course
You do not need a CPSA-F certification for the Albion DSL course: the iSAQB states that an Advanced module can be attended without one. Admission to CPSA-A does require a passed Foundation exam.
The Albion DSL course covers language design and compiler-construction concepts for DSLs. The iSAQB curriculum also lists compiler construction as helpful background.
The Albion DSL course requires no particular programming language; the iSAQB curriculum names none in its prerequisites. Its tools chapter covers host languages suited to embedded DSLs, such as Racket, Haskell, Ruby and Kotlin.
The Albion DSL course follows the same programme online and on site.
Booking and price
The Albion DSL course offers a group discount for several seats in one booking. Whether it applies to a date, and from how many seats, is shown on the date's row and at checkout.
