What this course is.
The architecture exists; the document that explains it does not. ADOC starts there: you settle the audience, the structure and the views, record decisions as ADRs, choose a tool chain and check the result in a review. GenAI is covered, with its limits.
ADOC has no exam of its own. Attendance earns credit points toward CPSA-A admission; the certification is an assignment and an oral exam by iSAQB-appointed experts, after all admission requirements have been met.

Does ADOC have an exam?
The Albion ADOC course has no exam and earns CPSA-A credit points. Certification involves an assignment and an oral exam assessed by experts appointed by the iSAQB, after all admission requirements have been met.
How many credit points does ADOC earn?
The Albion ADOC course earns 20 credit points, all of them methodical competence. Technical and communicative competence are both zero in the iSAQB curriculum 2025.1, so those come from other Advanced modules.
Do I need CPSA-F to attend ADOC?
You do not need a CPSA-F certification for the Albion ADOC course. The iSAQB curriculum expects the fundamentals taught there; a passed Foundation exam is required only for admission to the CPSA-A certification.
What do I get for attending?
For the Albion ADOC course you receive the Albion certificate of participation from 80% attendance, with a public verification page. It does not depend on any exam; ADOC has none.
Does ADOC run the same online and on site?
The Albion ADOC course follows the same programme online and on site.
Is there a discount for several seats?
Albion applies a group discount for several seats in one ADOC booking. Whether it applies to a date, and from how many seats, is shown on the date's row and at checkout.
What role do tools play in ADOC?
In the Albion ADOC course, you select documentation tools and a suitable tool chain. The curriculum covers wikis, modelling tools, version control and Docs-as-Code.
Is GenAI part of the course?
Yes, the iSAQB curriculum 2025.1 brings GenAI into the Albion ADOC course: generating documentation from code, comparing documentation against the source, answering questions about existing documentation. You validate the results.
