Credit points and certificate
The Albion WEB course has no exam and earns CPSA-A credit points. Certification involves an assignment and an oral exam assessed by experts appointed by the iSAQB, after all admission requirements have been met.
The Albion WEB course earns 30 credit points, all of them for technical competence: none for methodical, none for communicative. That is the split the iSAQB WEB curriculum 2020.1 sets.
For the Albion WEB course you receive the Albion certificate of participation from 80% attendance, with a public verification page. It depends on attendance, not on any exam.
The course
You do not need a CPSA-F certification for the Albion WEB course; the iSAQB lets you attend an Advanced module without one. The curriculum does expect CPSA-F knowledge, experience with distributed systems and web basics.
The Albion WEB course covers both sides: single-page applications and web components under architecture styles, server-side applications, reverse proxies and scaling under technology and infrastructure.
The Albion WEB course covers HTTP, TLS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, among other technologies. The curriculum leaves the specific examples and exercises open.
The Albion WEB course follows the same programme online and on site.
