Roger Rhoades
Roger Rhoades is founder of Albion Academy and is an accredited iSAQB trainer and certified architect with over 20 years of practical experience in Enterprise and Software Architecture Management.
Mr. Rhoades works with market-leading, multinational corporations to translate their digital business strategies into concrete business capabilities. His experience ranges from designing and implementing mission-critical IT systems to defining business and IT strategy.
Mr. Rhoades focuses on the following topics:
- Strategy planning and implementation
- Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) and Business Architecture, including TOGAF certifications
- Software architecture, including iSAQB certifications
- Soft skills, team leadership, and coaching
- Legacy Modernization
In addition to well-known architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Mr. Rhoades has developed “Strategy-to-Capability” frameworks for business and legacy transformations.
In his training courses and workshops, Mr. Rhoades supplements theoretical content with his practical experience to ensure that customers not only understand the relevant methods, but also the real-world challenges of their implementation. With the acquired methods and knowledge from his training courses and workshops, customers are well-prepared to convert their strategic plans into daily practice.
In addition, he has strong social and communication skills, which are complemented by coaching training to successfully advise clients in difficult situations. His communicative skills also support him in successfully conveying the necessary IT and methodological knowledge to course participants.
The success rate of all course participants who have attended a Foundation course conducted by Mr Rhoades is exceptionally high. Thanks to his highly interactive training style and communication skills, participants gain a deeper understanding of the course material in a workshop-like environment, which has a direct impact on their ability to pass the certification exams and be successful in their profession.
He is an active member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB). Together with his colleagues, he defines and evolves the iSAQB foundation and advanced curricula, exam questions, case studies, and glossary. In addition, Mr. Rhoades led the Germany chapter of the Iasa association (International Association of IT Architects) for several years.
Mr. Rhoades is a native English speaker and fluent in German and conducts his training courses and workshops in both languages. He has international experience with different companies and cultures worldwide and regularly presents at international conferences (e.g., Con-ect IT EAM, EAMKon, IT Strategy and Governance etc.).

Daniel Krämer
Daniel Krämer is passionate about designing software architectures and clean code to fulfill customer requirements. He is an accredited iSAQB trainer and earned the iSAQB CPSA Advanced software architecture certification.
Mr. Krämer works as a Senior Software Engineer at anderScore GmbH, an Albion partner, in a variety of development projects.
He is primarily responsible for migration and integration projects as well as customer-specific Java and web development. His colleagues appreciate his effective and efficient strategies to complex scenarios regarding reliability, optimization, and test automation.
In addition to designing architectures and developing code, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with other developers, which has led him to conducting trainings, writing articles for IT publications, and presenting at various IT conferences.

Raphael Pigulla
Raphael Pigulla has worked as a software architect and developer on various web development projects for over 20 years, both in the frontend and the backend as well as at start-ups and large corporations. In addition to agile software development, his passion is education and training.
In addition to agile software development, he follows his passion in education and training, both professionally and as a volunteer.
Mr. Pigulla is Principal Architect at MaibornWolff GmbH, a German IT consulting company.

Dr. Michael Sperber
Dr. Michael Sperber develops individual software exclusively with functional programming. He is a recognized expert in functional programming and has been using it in research and industrial development for over 25 years.
Dr. Sperber has been giving programming training courses for over 30 years and has done extensive research in this area. He is the co-founder of the blog funktionale-programmierung.de and co-organizer of the developer conference BOB, as well as the author of several books and numerous articles.

Matthias Bohlen
Matthias Bohlen is a coach and trainer for software engineering as well as practicing software architect, IT consultant, and Lean / Kanban expert.
Matthias Bohlen has a unique way of simply explaining complicated topics and breaking them down into small steps. In his iSAQB-accredited courses, he teaches domain-driven design (DDD), architecture documentation (ADOK) and architecture evaluation (AWERT).
Since 2001, he has been advising software development teams who want to release reliable, high-quality software on a regular basis without having to make a heroic effort. The easier it is to maintain the system architecture, the more that independent and strategically designed teams can effectively progress in development. The addition of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) lays the groundwork for an optimized architecture, work allocation, and team formation.
Matthias Bohlen has been a member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) since 2012 and is committed to qualifying software architects. In addition, he regularly lectures at conferences and writes for trade journals. He was formeraly a member of the editorial team of the OBJECT spectrum.

Martin Lehmann
Martin Lehmann is a software architect at Accso – Accelerated Solutions GmbH. He is a computer scientist by training and has been working in IT for over 20 years: primarily in development and consulting projects for the implementation of critical individual software – and has been using Java as a programming language and platform for many years.
His hobbyhorses are software architecture and software development based on consistent development methodology (agile, effective, efficient). Martin has been a member of the iSAQB since 2013 and is involved in working groups and the Strategy Council. He is happy to pass on his extensive experience with architecture and engineering in customer projects and as a conference speaker, consultant and trainer.

Dr. Kristine Schaal works as a software architect at Accso – Accelerated Solutions GmbH. She has been working in software development for over 25 years and has managed projects for customers in various industries, mainly in the Java environment.
Her focus is on designing architectures that are sustainable in the long term and adapted to the requirements and needs of her customers. In this environment, she also frequently advises and supports the migration of large systems. She is happy to pass on her knowledge and experience in training courses and at conferences, and she enjoys exchanging ideas with others.

Tobias Rohrweck
Tobias Rohrweck is an accredited iSAQB trainer who has been working in software development for over fifteen years.
During his career, he has worked on a wide variety of projects, from requirements gathering to development and quality assurance.
His technological focus is on Microsoft’s ERP software D365FSCM and Azure.
Currently, Mr. Rohrweck is the lead developer and architect for several teams at a large German retail company and places particular emphasis on security and robustness in his architectures.

Julian Finkler
Julian is a passionate software developer and architect. Maintainable software and clean code have been very important to him since the beginning of his career. He lives at the cutting edge and enjoys researching new technologies to evaluate their benefits and impact on software architecture. In addition to his work as an accredited iSAQB trainer, Julian is also involved in open source projects.

Nico Lausterer
Nico Lausterer works as a Solution Architect at MMK DIGITAL GmbH, a company that specializes exclusively in architecture consulting.
After successfully completing his studies in computer science at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Nico Lausterer began his professional career as an SAP consultant and developer at MHP – A Porsche Company.
Over the course of his career, he has continuously developed his skills and now works as a solution architect in the e-commerce and automotive sectors.
Nico Lausterer also teaches IT consulting at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe and shares his experience with students.
