EAM based on TOGAF 10 Foundation and Practitioner
Course Description
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is the international de facto standard for performing Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). TOGAF and EAM support your digital transformation by providing you with the approaches, processes, methodologies, and templates to develop a successful implementation strategy.
This EAM course teaches the basic and advanced concepts of EAM based on the TOGAF specification and prepares participants for the TOGAF Foundation and Practitioner certifications. This course not only provides an overview of EAM and TOGAF, but also focuses on applying that knowledge to specific business scenarios. This course is organized by ETC (Enterprise Training Center) and is not accredited by the Open Group.
Practice-Based Approach
The exam-relevant information of the TOGAF specification is summarized and structured in such a way that the participants gain clarity about the components of the TOGAF framework and their interrelationships.
The approach taken during the course will be decided on by the participants themselves, either with a focus on the preparation for the certification or on a practice-oriented case study.
- For the certification preparation, selected sample questions are provided and discussed in the group so that participants understand the rationale behind the answers. This directly impacts their ability to pass the TOGAF certification exam.
- For the practice-based approach, a case study is conducted together or in groups. This gives participants clarity on how the TOGAF methods can be applied to real projects, as well as where TOGAF can be adapted or supplemented to optimally and effectively execute an enterprise architecture approach. This proven didactic approach (“learning by doing”) helps participants to get a deeper understanding of the TOGAF methods as well as the challenges of implementing them in real projects.
